Q.
Are there suggestions for program roll-out?
A. The
Shadow
Agency - Newmark has
many suggestions the can help end user (client) companies when
preparing to roll out their Video Shopping Program.
Most suggestions and examples will incorporate plans that are
focused on positive employee reinforcement and recognition programs.
These should address employee perception, client goals and program
effectiveness.
Q. What is the average turn-around
time for a shop? How long does it take from shop to delivery of
video?
A. The
average time from shop to delivery of product is two weeks. This
is, however, greatly affected by scheduling needs and agreements
made with each individual client. In most cases a client will
request a set number of shoppers per month over a one or two year
agreement. Location lists are furnished in advance to aid in organizing
and scheduling the shops. Each month’s shops are normally
shipped when all are completed at the end of each month or during
the first week following that month. If a client prefers to have
shops delivered on a weekly basis or on an as-completed basis,
which can be arranged during the initial agreement process.
Q. How is Video Shopping
actually performed?
A.
The
Shadow Agency - Newmark incorporates
the use of micro-video and audio equipment that is imbedded in
apparel
or purses in most cases (Commonly referred to as a Rig). These
units are small enough to avoid detection by the untrained human
eye. In other words, it is almost impossible to detect a body
worn video system being worn by a shopper. The Shadow Agency - Newmark will
normally wear the equipment in route to a shop and will park
near the target location to do a system check on the equipment
and
turn the Rig on. The shopper will use a special trigger to start
taping just before entering a location to show parking lot or
front store displays if the client requires it. The shopper will
then video tape from the time they enter to the time they exit
the business. The original Digital tape is returned to The
Shadow Agency - Newmark office
to be converted to the final VHS or CD format and ultimately
forwarded to the client contact.
